The K67 capsule in the Stellar X3 has been meticulously tuned by hand. Compared to most K67 style capsules, it provides superior off-axis coloration and a smoother mid-range response.

The capsule is constructed using 3-micron mylar, instead of the traditional 6-micron thickness, resulting in increased sensitivity and an improved signal-to-noise ratio. Our gold sputtering process ensures consistent and even distribution of gold on the mylar.

Activating the high-pass filter reduces the proximity effect when speaking closely into the microphone. It also helps to minimize background noise, such as rumbling.

The -10dB pad switch increases the microphone's headroom, allowing you to record loud sources without the risk of clipping.

The Stellar X3 features a brand new shockmount design that is more reliable and does not resonate in your recordings, thanks to its springless construction. This new shockmount also effectively reduces vibrations.
